I went with one of the spray insulation companies. They sprayed urethane foam on the entire undercarriage. I wrapped the tanks with the heat tapes and then duct taped the heat tape tight against the tanks so the spray foam did not get between.

I put two tapes on and only plugged in one. I plugged in the same one all of the time. The second one was a backup in case the first one burned out. Worked fine for years and never did plug in the second tape.

This was in the 70's. Sorry the CRAFT issue has occurred. I seem to recall it was under 100.

I would winterize it and use the campground facilities, bring bottled water for drinking. It is not worth taking the risk of freezing the water lines, the headaches, expense and damage that could be done just is not worth it.
