New but older Class C

Does anyone have any thoughts on a new 2014 Coachman Freelander 28DS? I just wonder why it is still at the dealer. It looks great online and we are going to check it out next weekend. However I am a bit skeptical. It has a Chevy V-8 chassis.

Leftovers are nothing new. I you are truly interested, make sure you do a very in depth inspection and look up the price on NADA, CL and the internet so you can bargain wisely.

I bought a 2010 Fleetwood Pulse 24D in 2011. Turned out the chassis was actually built in 2008. So far, only problem is the tires. I only have 35000 miles on my unit, but have replaced all the tires and experience two blowouts before I realized all the tires were bad. I also had them change the oil in both the chassis and generator as part of the deal. Extra miles and hours on the generator should be accounted for. As mentioned previously, do your homework on price and negotiate and have patience. I actually waited six full months until the dealer got to my price point, but the market was more depressed then.

Hi, We found a wonderful RV at a great price. We purchased a 2014 Forest River Sunseeker 2860 DS with 1000 miles on it. The story was that it was taken on 1 trip by the original owners and the size was not to their liking.
Thank you for your comments and advice.
