New Four Winds Super C

Took delivery of a new '14 33SW with full body paint & 6K diesel gen today from General RV in Mt. Clemens, MI today. Good price. Reasonable trade in.

Can't believe I got 12.5 mpg on the 125 mile trip home traveling at 60 - 65 mph. Nothing on board but me. Bodes well for mpg once it's broken in even with the way it will be loaded when traveling.

Very happy so far. Drives like a dream. Much better than my 3 previous motor homes: a late 70s El Dorado C (remember those?), a 2002 Windsport 35 V10 A and the 2000 Isata B that I traded in. Motor homes have obviously come a long way.

Noticed a few minor glitches as expected. We'll give it a couple of good shake down trips before it goes back to General for tweaking then off for a 5-6,000 mile national park swing in September.

I did tons of research before settling on the 33SW. This site has been a great resource. Thanks all!

I'll keep y'all posted as I see how this thing pans out.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your 33sw. There are some 33 sw owners here that can help if needed. Got any pictures you wanna share with us?

I'll put some pix up in the next day or 2. I really didn't want to spend the $ for the full body paint but that's the only way I could get the diesel gen from General. Whoever does the ordering of new units at GRv wants to keep the price down so orders most with propane gens. That wouldn't work for me. General was my 1st choice of dealers since they have several stores in MI where I live in the summers & (soon) 2 stores in FL where we winter.

În the long run I think you'll be glad you gave the extra cash for the full body paint. We have had some minor issues with our 35 SK so far but we love everything about it. The ride is awesome, very comfortable and great power. Hope you have a great time.

Are we having fun yet?

How about these?

Shake down cruise was less than ideal, to say the least.
