New owner learning curve

Brought home our first RV (Minnie Winnie - 25B) yesterday. Tried to put the pump out hose in the bumper to store, it would not fit. Apparently the 2 mounting bolts for the bumper keep the hose from sliding through. Okay, I know there is something that I am missing, so what is the secret?

I'm using Rhino Flex hose. You have to remove one of the the orange ends so that only the slinky portion goes into the bumper. At least that's how it worked for me.

Or build one from a vinyl fence post.

1) Where was the hose stored before?

2) did you look up inside the bumper to verify it really is bolts? Can the bolts be re-positioned or moved?

I believe he has a 2015 MH, so there was no before. I have the same issue with my 31K Itasca. I just put my sewer hose in a 5 gal. home depot bucket in my rear storage area.

I had the same problem with mine. I was able to turn the end with the hooks just enough to push the hose in and get the cap shut. I have the ez coupler 20 foot. Each 10foot piece fits on both sides and then I use a storage container for the elbow and my cleaning hose. If the hose stops collapsing I will put in the container or build PVC holder.

I have a Minnie Winnie (31) and the bolts are there also I have place my stinky slinky inside of the pvc tube zip tied to the bumper. Many are against placing the hose in the bumper due to the possibilty of creating rust in the bumper.

Just purchased an 06 Four Winds 5000. When I pulled to old hose out of the bumper tube, the tube was rusted badly. I decided to just put my hose in a plastic bin and store it in an empty storage bay. I don't want the bumper to rust out any further. I will be fixing the existing damage soon.
