It's all downhill (and then back up the hill) from here now that DH has the bug. I can tell you from personal experience - the RV life - even as vacation and hobby will get him more active. And you know how that works - the more active you are - the more active you can be.

Don't know what shades / blinds you were referring to. We just had MCD American Duo shades put in the Bounder. Picked it up yesterday. They are awesome but even with the 30% off with swap sale they had - they're more pricy than the number you listed. The B-Van we had used full curtains and they were fine for night but didn't do much for UV and heat/cool. In the smaller space of the B both the heater and the ac were so effective it wasn't and issue. They had Velcro tabs on them so where they met in the middle they stayed in place.

Keep it up and glad the DH has the bug. It will soon be "all yours" with mods and personal touches. Little things like pillows can make a big difference at a low cost too. No pic of the new shades yet but the old accordion shades are ok - but they can be a hassle sometimes.

That is a nice pic!! Those are vinyl blinds correct? Can't wait to see the new ones!
Ours believe it or not are metal! My 1994 van had gorgeous blinds they were cloth. That is what husband wants. I saw the ones on MCD and that is what I thought I would order but the vinyl ones maybe?? The gold version. Figured the RV isn't upscale so should kinda keep it a tad on the lower end of cost etc..
I was so right too hubby said if he likes this RVin he will easily hand this RV over to the boys and upgrade to a newer RV. haha.. I told him he wasn't going to new I am not paying for a new one..
I am glad others can so I can buy used...Nicely used...

I hope it gets him moving..

You know, I don't know what years the change occurred. We haven't had a rig that old since our '88 Type B MH that we traded in in '97. The '97 was a Type C and I don't remember how picky I had to be.

Well I have successfully filled my water tank
We real dance to small accomplishments for me.
Had to go buy 2 more hoses just to get enough reach from where the RV is parked to where my water outlet is. Geeze a Pete. Figure I will pack those in the RV undercarriage never know when they will come in handy.

So now we can't camp at Lincoln Park the water level is down they are doing something another to the lake. Soooo I decided on the biggest State Park Indiana has. Brown County. Sooo I have called and got our reservations done so we will be there for 2 nights. Our first time with no sewage or water hookups. Just electric and pets allowed. Sooo we shall see just how good we are. They have dump stations and they have water.
Just not on the individual sites. Oh well they seem to have a lot of hiking trails and that is what I am after. For now anyhow.
I am soooo excited.

Now we off to camp at Branson MO.
Going to Table Rock State Park!! Soooo excited!
