Regardless of what your initial investment budget may be, I'd recommend a used rig. Let someone else eat the first year depreciation.
Come out to Phoenix and look for deals in retirement areas like Sun City, Sun City Grand or Surprise. There are always good deals from people who bought a new rig and, for whatever reason, decided to sell it. I drove a 2006 WGO View 23J for 8 years as a photographer. It went just about everywhere in CA, AZ and NM. We also took it to ME to photograph puffins.
