No AC or Microwave when using Gen

So my brother-in-law has a '97 Tioga 26' Class C with the V10. When on the generator neither the AC or Microwave will work after an outing last weekend. Hooked to shore power they are fine. All breakers we can find are fine. Not familiar with C systems I thought I'd ask here. Any thoughts or tips?

You didn't state whether you had any other 110 volt outlets that are working or not. I would first check the breaker on the generator and make sure it is not tripped.

Before we bought our present coach, we rented one which had an outlet in the back near the generator. The electric cord for the coach had to be plugged in to that outlet when running off the genny. You might look for something like that.

You may have circuit breakers on Gen itself that have to be reset, if it does not have a transfer switch than may have a outlet on ceiling compartment that Gen cord has to be plugged in as the ToothDoc discribed.

Had the same problem 007 is right it was a breaker directly on the generator. If it trips too often you may want to have it serviced.
