Oldie But Goodie '84 Class C

I need to make the alluminum access door frame for my generator. It has curved corners and not sure if it's possible to make the curve for the corners myself. It's 1/2" in width. She is an 84 Class C Fleetwood Tioga and I cannot pay the $400 or so I have seen them priced for. I just need the swinging part of the door. The actual frame attached to the RV is OK. Any ideas? I don't even know how alluminum is identified or graded or classified or... Just doesn't seem like it should be that hard. Then I remembered I just registered with you all and thought I would ask.

The only thing I can offer is if you bend the trim around an appropriately sized pipe to get your curves..

I assume the trim you are speaking of is basically "L" shaped. Make a template of the opening. Then transfer this template to a piece of 3/4" plywood. Use the plywood form to shape the trim metal.
Secure the trim metal at one end and slowly work it around the plywood form.
If you have doubts about YOUR ability do do the work, take your plywood form and the trim metal to a welding shop and I'm sure the can fix you up for less than $400.00.
