Overhead bunk weight limit

Hello, does anybody know the general weight limit on an overhead bunk on a class C? I have a 2005 Four Winds Chateau and I've looked and looked and can't find anywhere that states the max weight limit. I am looking to put myself and one of my kids up there and the weight would be about 300lbs. Is that too much? Thanks so much

I have seen 350 lbs listed but that may have been for the one's that go up and down. I would use that as a good number unless I found something else. YMMV. ;-)

500 lbs on our Four Winds. There is an age difference though (05 vs 14). I might call Thor and ask for sure.

The bunk over the cab weight limit in a Jayco Greyhawk is 750 pounds as per Jayco customer support. I would think the same would apply to the bunk in a Redhawk.

Overhead bunk in 2016 Thor Siesta Sprinter is labelled: "500 lb max weight in this 2 person bed. Bed should not be occupied when vehicle is in motion".

Agree this may not apply to your unit, check with mfgr.

Wish I could find out what it is in a 2012 Winnebago chalet/access. weren't any stickers on even the new ones.

We rented a 2011 Winnebago chalet in Alaska a few years back and were told it was 500 pounds.
