Paint Suggestions for Winnebago View

I have a 2006 Winnebago View, J Model. The paint is very dull and now the top of the RV is starting to peal. I have looked into professional paint jobs and they are quoting anywhere from $4,000 to over $7,000. I am frankly surprised that the paint is not holding up. The decals, I can replace myself but the rest of the body of the RV, I can't do. Any suggestions? I want to keep my RV for a long time and I am pleased with everything else, just not the way it looks right now. Thank you ahead of time for any suggestions.

If the paint is only dull it might be possible to have it professionally buffed and only repaint where it has peeled. A good detailer can work wonders with dull paint. Also, if the the paint and decals are sound, it could be clear coated.
