Yeah...small town...no such thing here unless I build one. I will tarp it this year and buy a cover for it next year.

The main panel is on the other sides of both house..on the NOT garage side...

I doubt if would do a concrete pad...up here it is ABSURDLY expensive and would probably run me 10K$ to pave that unpaved area....I think best option is to see if it'll back in there....I'll put it up on 2'x2' patio cement tiles and deal with it come spring....and since we plan on doing lots of camping...I'll leave it on the street when not in use....until I can't anymore. As long as I am first to move my RV and not my neighbour with his LOL

Our drive way has a severe slope as well. I looked into a pad, and one of those aluminum covers ( from the factory, assemble it myself ). We had to have the city lower a manhole cover, add a retaining wall, the cost 8 years ago was $16,000.
And, IMHO such a concrete pad, retaining wall, etc. would be a negative sales factor if you ever need to sell, unless you were lucky enough to find a buyer who has a RV.

For $16 K we decided to rent an enclosed storage shed, with electricity. Breakeven is about 13+ years.....not counting house depreciation

Now that you solved your problem I have a question.

If you were my neighbor I wouldn't have a problem with what you and your neighbor are doing but how do your neighbors feel about an RV storage facility on their street. No ordinances against it?

If not that's great but our tiny little town nit picks the heck out of having the RV in my own backyard for more than a couple days and I live on a private road.

So..........it wasn't really a problem in the first place.

All you had to do was drive it up there?

Yup ...created the problem in my mind because of the slope...and that my neighbour as some difficulty reversing out of there....

So...tried it....cannot go in straight...must come in at an angle...still have about 3" before the bottom of the hitch hits the pavement.....I'll take it!

Nope....no bylaw against it....every other home in my neighbourhood has an RV, Travel trailer, or some sort of trailer....Some of the older neighbourhood with smaller yards and driveways have them as well.

Mine is actually better positioned than most. some have them in front of the home....parked along side the sidewalk on gravel...can't be cement pads because technically have to allow for the city easement....

There is a bylaw against leaving it on the road for more than 72 hours. Again, our bylaw office is complaint driven....no complaint, they don't care.

My area is pretty chill...live and let live....never mind what your neighbour is doing....come the weekends...3/4 of the RV and trailers are gone anyway LOL.

... Case in point... A 2 minute drive ti my kids Judo class... I snapped these.. And there was more.

City has bigger issues than worrying about this. Part of the pros of living up north...everyone is into camping.

To left of garbage can on gravel sounds much better/ looks more level, and many codes require "not in front of house"?

Nope... No codes... Only thing is that he is on the city easement... Technically not his property... Could get nailed for that.... But no one cares.... Unless a pipe bursts...

I'm 95% level where I am... Worked out perfectly.... And best of all... No storage fees.

At a minimum, pour some gravel, maybe even put horse stall rubber pads over it, to go under tires, to help prevent mud sinking/ mud splash.

I bought concrete cement patio stones 2' x 2'.....just waiting on days off to get her on there....on the one side it's on my cement pad in back and on my cement walkway in front....just need to worry about driver's side....hard to see on the pictures.

If you park it and not open the slides, you should be ok. But don't open the slides unless leveled.
