Passenger seat problem?

Really liked the Thor chateau 31 with bunks for the family....but if DW is driving the passenger seat did not seem comfortable to me, can't lean back much due to design (dinette behind it). Is this fixable?

My Coachman has the same set up. Coachman put a piano hinge at the bottom of the dinette seat back and a sliding latch at the top. This way the back of the passengers seat can recline partially.

Thanks, we'll check that out on our second look at it.
