Great info I forgot about this. I have a copy of he PDF if anyone needs it. It's a simple fix

I have also camped for 5 days with rv in acc when we listen to music with no issues

If you were connected to shore power and it killed both house and chassis I'm guess you have another issue. Even if your unit doesn't charge chassis as mine does it would still charge your house
Glad to hear your engine battery is charged when hooked up to shore power. I have to add that feature to mine. When I managed to kill chassis and house batteries, the MH was parked beside my house, and wasn't plugged in to shore power.

Thanks to everyone who offered comments / ideas / solutions!
I took the liberty to contact Winnebago about my unit and radio (2014 Minnie Winnie 31K). I asked them the following questions and received the answers (listed beside the question).
1. Will shore power charge the chassis battery? - NO
2. Can I run the radio off shore power? - NO
3. Can I switch radio from chassis to shore and back? - NO
4. Do I have battery boost switch (as in manual)? - NO

Not the answers I was looking for. I will try to look at the ideas that some of you sent me, though I am not very technical when it comes to vehicle wiring.

Thanks again to all

1. Will shore power charge the chassis battery? - NO You can add a
00-00362-100 [00-00362-100] - $61.95
to connect batteries together for charging by either engine or shore power. (The way is should be!)

2. Can I run the radio off shore power? - NO Yes, if you add a SPDT switch on dashboard as I and wa8yxm suggested.
3. Can I switch radio from chassis to shore and back? - NO Yes, with the installed switch as suggested.
4. Do I have battery boost switch (as in manual)? - NO A bit more complicated to install, if your House and Chassis batteries are close to each other, just carry jumper cables.

You might also wish to consider a device called a Trick-L-Start.

Since it appears Winnie did not install a BIRD (BIdirectional Relay Device) on your Bago,,,,, This device provides the "Reverse" charge function.

It hooks to your isolator relay, with 3 wires.. one hooks to the CHASSIS side, one to the HOUSE side and the 3rd is a ground.

This should let you run Radio in ACC as well.

And glad you liked my description of the toggle switch.. Many motor homes come with that switch already installed.
