pleated shades

We have push -up pleated shades in our winnebago Itasca MH. In pushing one up, I broke the small plastic ring on the left side. ( I did not break the string) We found a replacement at camping world, but now I am having problems getting the string back into and around the ring. I have been unable to find the place where it is tied together just by pulling at the string ( I am afraid I will break it now. )
Any help will be appreciated------nothing is mentioned in the info with the mh that suggest how to do this.

If the ringer you're referring to is the part attached to your valance, I think you can just wrap the string around the plastic ring, then screw the ring into the same hole as the original rig. I think your string has a loop at the end. That is how ours work.

Check out this web-site Blind Repair : : : Shade and Blinds Parts and String
Lots of helpful hints on how to fix blinds of all kinds. My better half got what she needed here to tell her how to re-string the blinds in our RV. She can now do one in about 15 minutes.

Thanks all,

We did find a local person, through the help of Camping World, who in about 3 minutes reconnected the string (which was not broken) to the plastic ring and did not charge us. The problem to us was taking down and putting back the shade itself. But we did it.!!
