One more quick post, if you have a 33SW, or similar, check the front bumper cover. I was washing the rig one day and the bumper (cover) felt loose, investigating showed it was held on with one small trim screw in each wheel well and resting on the fog lights in the front. Had a drill with me and was able to put a couple of more screws in and a bungee strap on the front until it can go in for a permanent fix. A $100k+ rig held together with a bungee strap, a sad commentary and this is one of the minor issues.

I found it curious that the dealer I just bought my 2009 Jayco Seneca from currently has both a used 2014 33SW and a used 2014 ACE 30.1 sitting on the lot right now. Kind of assumed that somebody had bought a new coach for a "trip of a life time" and sold it back the next year, but the more I read this thread on the 33SW and others about the ACE, the more I am wondering if somebody just got fed up with the issues you and others are experiencing and just got rid of the thing!
Best of luck to you as you sort out all of these issues - you have been far kinder in your commentary than the choice if words I might have selected in your shoes!

I've now had 2 diesel mechanics at 2 different Ford dealers tell me they are unable to explain why our rig shuts down after about 200 miles. Fueling? DEF problem? The warning light on the dash that comes on just before the thing takes a dump is the same one that indicates no DEF. According to the dealers' computers, my DEF tank is between 2/3 & full.
I feel it's important to get these problems out there to keep others considering a Thor Super C from making a mistake.
As noted above, I think this is a great concept. From everything I've gathered, the Ford F550 platform is ideal. Too bad Thor didn't get it right...so far. They've been building these for about 2 years now. Seems the bugs should be out of them.
I hope that folks with Thor Super C issues will continue to chime in here. I'd be very interested in gathering some hard data.

Hat-Trick, how long is it down when it goes? Has anyone purchased a 2015 yet? Are they still just as shoddy?

I am calling General RV today to find out about getting Thor to extend our warranty due to the issues and us not having our unit for over two months total due to repairs. I will let you all know how it goes, not expecting much. If I could get my money back we would get a Jayco Seneca. I do really like our 33sw, I am just stuck with that feeling that everytime we use it, something major will break. We bought this to enjoy it, not to become a full time rv mechanic.

Not quite sure what you mean. My rig died on 7/6. Got running again on 7/7 and died again the same day. Been at a Ford dealer since then.
The Thor rep says their repair facility in Elkhart is booked into October but he's trying to fit me in.
General RV says they'll put pressure on Thor. They're a pretty big dealer and buy a lot of Thor coaches. The service manager at General in Mt. Clemens seems to really want to help me.
'15s have been out for a couple of months. Seem to be identical to the '14s.

Hat Trick, service manager at our General RV called yesterday. He is helping me to try and get another year on my warranty etc... They also ordered all of the new parts for the slide out. I typed a letter to Thor about our issues, we will see where that goes.

I think I misunderstood. I thought you got the warning light then it would restart and run again eventually. Now I'm following along.
I am heading out today to look at a couple of these. Apparently they "fly off the lot" and they are hard to keep in stock. So, I may not see many, if any.
Can't wait to hear what smoke they blow me about how great the product is when I know differently.

Just a question. Are there any "lemon laws" that would apply to RV's?
As I understand them they have to be multiple attempts to fix the same issue without success. May only apply to chassis system and maybe original owner.
Just curious.

Lemon Laws vary by state.
In Washington state it doesn't cover, "portions of a motor home used as dwelling, office, or commercial space are not covered unless a defect can be proven to affect the mobility of the motor home or the driver’s area."
Many states only cover the drivability and safety aspects, not the 'house' features. It takes a lawyer to determine if you even have a case. Many states use arbitration boards rulings, not judges and juries.
When you Google "RV Lemon Laws" you get links to law firms and state bar associations discussing the conditions of lemon laws by state. CAUTION: the law firm sites promise success in determining your RV a lemon. If it were me, I'd only do it on a contingency basis if possible or I think you'd be tossing more money at an issue that might not be resolved in your favor.
In the OP's post, the badly aligned house on the chassis and cab might not qualify in many states because it's not a safety issue, just appearance. The issues he subsequently reported of the engine breakdown might be, but if resolved, it wouldn't be grounds for a full refund under most lemon laws.

it is sad to think of 2 things that can happen here
most RV owners don't take there RV out much over a year unless there full-timing
how many get past the facility warranty time line
2ed how many are pushed pasted the facility warranty time line over fix's
even if they spend 10K on fix's at a dealers lot pulling some one along how much have they made over the cost of fixs and how much on fix's down the road latter they make off you as well
i am not saying this RV line is doing so i am just asking .. how of this type of work is going on to make money and is there any money lost on there part at all giving the money made off the unit
i all so like that halla said
We bought this to enjoy it, not to become a full time rv mechanic

I'm going for 2 more years on the warranty & reimbursement for payments I'm making on the rig while it's down.
My wife did some research & found that Michigan's lemon law doesn't apply to motor homes.
