Pump

When at the campground and you have water hookup you don't need the pump right? What do you need the pump for? I have a control panel that has buttons for Pump and one for HTR

Suspect HTR is to light propane water heater , pump is only needed in absence of campground water pressure

No need for pump if you have water hookup; correct. The pump is handy if you're dry camping or stop along the road and need a shower, want to wash dishes, need to brush your remaining teeth, flush a toilet, etc. Also handy to pump winterizing/sanitizing chemicals into the pipes.

Thanks, how do you use the pump to winterize?

Winterizing, if your have hose attached with valve to siphon anti into water system other wise may have to pour anti into fresh water tank than pump into water system.

De-winterize

On our winnebago , the pipe from fresh water tank to pump has a tee connection with valve .
The tee has a short length of pipe which you put into gallon of Rv antifreeze , turn valve so that pump now draws from antifreeze .
Switch on pump and open one facet at a time untill pink antifreeze comes out , move on to next facet / shower / toilet .
Ps you will need about 2 gallon ?
