Real Life Actual Mileage

We just returned from Yuma AZ via Lake Havasu and other AZ parks (we took the long way wst to get better wather (down I 95 and across I 10 to I 8 and then cme back on I 40)

Total mileage was 5,196, gallons of gas purchased 656.8 - lowest price per gallon was 1.59 highest price was 2.15. Total fuel cost was 1,132.30.

MPG for the 'thirsty' V-10 was 7.9 pulling the Saab Cvt on the Acme Tow Dolly at speed around 62 some times higher where the limits were 75.

Winds were not favorable but with a full tank and the car behind it seemed quite stable.

I have been keeping up with the mileage on my new Fuse 23a motor home. I have been mostly interested in seeing how close the computer is to actual results. Traveling in the flat areas of Florida, i have been getting real close to 15mpg while traveling at between 68-70 mph.

Cambria 30J towing a 5000 lb Ford Explorer. Down hill with a tail wind about 8

Flat ground no wind about 7.8

Uphill with generator on it sometimes goes as low as 7.2 or so. It drives and handles well.
