Rear oven vent

Here is a photo of a vent on the rear of my 23' Jayco Eagle (1995). It's dimensions are 5 1/2" x 12 1/2". It has a flap that latches and unlatches for when the oven vent in use or not. The flap is broken needs to be replaced, but I may need to replace the whole thing soon.. I can't find the parts on any standard online shopping site. Anyone know where I can get one/ I need it soon because it's about to snow.

Thanks in advance.

I am thinking RV junk yard might be excellent advice. Used RV Parts And Accessories | Visone RV Monaco Parts Dealer | rvparts.visonerv.com

Oh no, that's what I was trying to avoid... having to salvage parts from junked units. Thanks for the link. I poked around on it and didn;t find anything. I guess I'll try my local RV dealer next.

I have bought from these guys before.. I usually call them or the few others that are highly recommended and ask if that part is available. Many times they will strip off a part and shelf it.

Turns out a local RV place had it in stock for $18! But I'll definitely refer to that site int he future as needed. Thanks!

Glad you quickly resolved the need.... I am like you... if a system is not functioning on my rig... I get all my research and path to repair down and then tear into the issue.

Just to follow up:
The place in town (Pikes Peak RV) did indeed have the part I needed in stock, and it was apparently, in the shopkeeper's words, "the last remaining one in the world". I started to do it myself and then remembered how bad I am at sealing things on correctly so I had my mechanic do it since he was already working on the furnace anyways. So it's as good as new now. Furnace is working great too finally! Just needed a new thermostat. I'm ready for my first ever pre-winter trip now. Should be fun.

It is a nice feeling that you own the last one of something!
