Remodels

Hello everybody,
Although I am not new to RVing I am new to this site. I have been a member for a year but spend all my free time working on my 1989 26" Jamee.

I have found that people do some crazy things to RV's. In this Jamee, for example the previous owner took out the bathroom and covered the area with plywood for storage. I tore all that out and filled the tanks with water to see why they would do that. The tanks held water although the drop valves were leaking. ($13.00 each to replace). So after spending severel weeks trying to find a picture of the inside of this model. I have re built the bathroom.

So far, besides the bathroom, I have replaced the AC, Frig, pulled up carpet and put down tile, 1 window where bathroom is, and 2 tires on the front. We are planning our first trip the frist week in August.

I wanted to go to the Rally in September, but not sure if this rig is ready. I will know more after my trip to Florida in 3 weeks.

I will keep tab on this trend now so if anyone wants to chat about remodels or upgrades or just about anything else . chat me up.

Happy RVing from Mobile Alabama..............
