We just got our 2014 Coachman Freelander 26QB.

Can anyone instruct me how to remove the bottom drawer in the kitchenette to access the low point drains?

I've pressed, pushed, flipped every little latch I could find with no luck.

You didn't mention lifting the drawer by the handle when it is all the way extended.

Unfortunately that didn't work. I should have had the rep remove it when we had our orientation and walkthrough.

On my Fleetwood product I was told thatwhen fully extended the tab on one side is pushed up and the other is pushed down. I have not done it though.

Can you post a picture, drawer slides come in all shapes and sizes and manufacturers change them all the time. There could be a latch underneath, you never know

Don, if your drawer slides are metal with roller brgs. this is the method , look for a small plastic flipper in the center of the roller track , visible only with the drawer fully extended.

If this isn't the set up you, have ; could you post a picture of your drawer fully extended , showing the slide.

I don't know what kind of slides you have but there are generally only two types used. One has part under the drawer and the other part is on the side of the cabinet and they come out with small latches on each side that are raised where the drawer enters the cabinet.
The second one is mounted to the side of the drawer instead of the bottom ( I suspect this is what you have ) and they have a small lever that you can see on each slide when the drawers are pulled out to full extension and one is raised up and the other down. This is the key part - after holding them in position you have to give the drawer a really good pull to have them release and they will feel tight pulling out. When putting them back you just push them in but will also feel tight until they are all the way back

We will probably have a lot more questions as we become more familiar with our new RV.

Don - glad you got your answer. There is a new 28QB parked near us at Lake Ouachita State Park in Arkansas - nice looking rig.

I finally got to take a really good look at it this week and I have to agree that it does look good. Haven't taken it out yet. We were suppose to do a short 2 day break-in trip to Letchworth but the weather has been really bad. I'm having power mirrors and rear side cameras installed Monday and the weather should break by next weekend.

We'll be off to Portland, Or for a wedding in June. It should be a fun trip.
