Rental Cars

In a bind! We have a Class C motorhome that we pull a stock trailer with. Therefore can not pull a vehicle too.
We are going to need a rental but so many are not open on Sat after 12 noon or Sunday. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what yall do??
Thank you

Will you be close to an airport? Rental companies there tend to be open 7 days a week.

Agree with any airport that has commercial flights, or even some of the smaller ones. We were in a similar bind down in Fayetteville NC and took the class C we had right to the airport to get a rental . If not Google your destination for a local business. Some mom and pop shops may be flexible for you.

We are heading to San Antonio. Had not thought about just going through the airport with the MH. But buses make it ok so I will have to check that out!
Thanks for the help!

San Antonio airport rental car agencies are off airport. Just look up your car rental company and see where they are located, nearby the airport, but they will be off airport property.

When you fly in, you hop a rental car company bus that takes you to the counter/pickup location. You would not drive your MH into the airport itself unless picking up or dropping off passengers.

Another thing to think about/look into...

Depending on when you arrive in San Antonio... you could always park at the airport the night before and then take care of your rental transaction the next morning...

Check out this thread !!

Airport parking

Good Luck !!

The last time in San Antonio we stayed at a camp ground just west of town off the interstate and there was an Enterprise about a 1/4 mile from the C.G. Actually the person that picked us up lived in her m.h. in the c.g. I'd call ahead and have the car waiting for me at what ever location you'll be staying at. They will have the cc and all info that they need and the car could be waiting for you. Enterprise has always been my choice in car rentals and they have always exceeded my expectations.

Has anyone used a rental agency in Nashville, Tn? We'll be staying at Seven Points COE Park about 10 miles out.

If a Costco member I usually find very good pricing via their web site. They have all the first and second tier rentals companies available.

X2. I use them when a rental is needed.

We have used Enterprise rentals a couple times. If you are staying within a certain 3-5 mile radius of an office they will pick you up and drop you off after the rental is complete.

We have a Class C and nothing set up for towing right now so we have relied on rental cars, cabs (depending where we are) and family when we go some place.

Just go to the enterprise website and search the location you will be at and it will tell you which office and how far it is from you. If there are none then you may be out of luck on getting to a rental car. Also check with Good Sam, coachnet and AAA for discount codes. We used the Coachnet code a couple times to save a few bucks.

~Good Luck!

We use a dealership about 10 miles from the campground that we frequent. Saves a lot of money and hassle. Call them and they have a car waiting we've done it so many times they haven stashed the keys if were running late for pickup.
