Replacing a 10 yr old Jensen TV
What is the best way to approach the purchase of a replacement tv? My Navion 24H only has 19 inches in a corner.

I replaced my Jensen TV with a nice 22in Samsung, the sound and picture are 1000X better. I was able to use the bracket off the jensen with very little modification.
I needed to add a 1/2" spacer and get some longer screws to mount it to the tv and I had to run the power into the cabinet above the bed other than that it was plug and play.

Depends if your looking for 12v or 110 v , we only dry camp ( boondock) so I put 2 32 inch , insignia TVs from Best Buy in my rig , they have the voltage step down box on wire like a laptop , so I cut off the box and the 110v plug and wired it directly to my 12 v source, have to look on back of tv tho , most are 19v input but there’s a few 12 volts 🤙🤙🤙

Is the Samsung 12 volt? Do you have the model number that you can share? I also have a 24h with the Jensen 12 volt TV and have the same questions.

Jensen TV in 24H
Yes, this is a 12 volt. Model JE1907DC, which they do not make any more.
Jensen refers you to Camping World. Not much in the way of recommendations.

I found at Best Buy a LCD that has the DVD player built-in. Nice touch!

They were 110 volt but it was easy to run a cord from the outlet by the bed into cabinet where I plugged it into a power strip.
The unit is in storage but let me see if I can find the receipt with the model number.

Even if you pick a 120V model, it is easy enough to connect it to a small 75 or 100 watt $15 inverter, sure you will take a hit converting 12V to 120V with the inverter, though in general most modern inverters are 80-90% efficient, and many smaller flat panel tv's draw less than 25 watts while operating, and this number seems to be dropping every year. Not long ago a similar size tube tv would draw 100 watts or more. The other thing to keep in mind is how light TV's are these days, a quick check on amazon shows 22 inch models weighing as little as 5 pounds, the opens lots of options for mounting, swing arms, etc.
