Revs high

I recently sold my class c motorhome and when the new owners picked it up they said they went about a mile and it broke down , they said it was reving high then stalled out. I felt bad, I never had a problem like that, before selling it it sat in my driveway for 6 months we didn't use I would start it up every once in while and it sounded fine. What could be the culprit? It's a ford v10

From the minimal symptom information you gave, it could many things. Anyone would only be speculating. A competent shop won't take long to diagnose the issue.
