I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, I've had an RV for over 5-years, parked all winter in a field. Many nights below -30c (-22F), pushing -40F occasionally, I've always just grabbed whatever was on the shelf at Walmart or Canadian Tire, usually the -40 stuff.
I keep a few inches in the toilet bowl and have seen that slushy, so assume the pipes are the same.

Yes I had pink stuff in filter holder- I ran my pump to get all the water out of fresh water tank-I then set my compressor regulator at 20# and hooked to my water inlet ,like I would at a campground-now I am hooked up to water intake and blowing 20# of air in system, I open each valve in every location and water comes out then changes to air, after I am assured all the water is out I pour 5 gal of pink stuff in fresh water tank, unscew filter holder remove filter and screw it back on-I then run my pump and again run all my faucets one at a time until pink stuff comes out, which is also filling my p traps, but for some unknown reason filter holder broke and so far I haven't got over to storage to see if I have more damage-My thought is there was diluted pink stuff in filter holder I hope anyway

I think you are right. If that filter is like the ones where the water comes in and goes down the central filter tube, your blow out would not have removed the water below the top. And then the antifreeze would mostly flow across the top of the water with only a little mixing.

Thnx guys, now I am starting to get nervous. Too late now though. I gravity drained my tanks and ran piping mostly dry last fall. I hope it will be ok! After the two feet of snow melts, I’ll check for anything obvious.

TIP: Screw air adapter into pressure regulator, AND screw this into Fresh Water Hose connector at RV to LEAK TEST w/ AIR PRESSURE; makes NO MESS if there is a leak.

Ok... i see what you are saying. What kind of pressure do I expect to see and hold, if no leak, I wonder?
