Scissor Jacks for Sprinter chassis

Greeting to all,
Has another one put scissor jacks on a Mercedes Benz sprinter chassis? I have a Fleetwood Jamboree 24 ft. on a sprinter chassis and I am thinking of putting scissor jacks, any opinions out there. Thanks

Opinion, yes - first hand knowledge, no.
I've thought of doing that to my current 32 1/2' class C. I don't really want the extra expense, weight and adding more potential mechanical problems of adding hydraulic or electric levelers.
I imagine the scissor jacks would work fine for stabilizing the MH as long as you didn't make any attempt to use them to level the unit.

There are very specific points under the Sprinter for jacking. If you jack in the wrong place things can break.

The factory jacking points are designed to work with the factory supplied 2 stage hydraulic
service jack that has a specially designed "saddle" on the top to spread the load on the
factory jacking points. To use a scissors jack, a 2x6 block will prevent damage to the "saddle". There may be places on the frame in the rear that will work, but the front frame and suspension need to be tread around lightly.
