Seal Seam Between Cab and Overhang?
Hello. I have a 2015 Thor Outlaw Super C. I just noticed that the entire seam between the cab of the chassis (metal roof) and the fiberglass overhang has a pretty big gap (about 1/8 to1/4”) and needs to be fixed. Looking for a DIY solution - any ideas what the best way to do this is?

You probably have to drop the headliner around the roof cutout, to tighten the screws around the cutout opening, that secure the cab roof to the bed board. It sounds like they have loosened and are not holding for some reason or other.

roof seal
I had the same problem, I bought 'RV roof tape' on Amazon, super stuff, it's 4 in wide and will seal anything.
Good luck

Thanks, I'll check this. Seems like a big PITA, removing the headliner. Hopefully that solves the main problem and closes the gap a bit, after that I guess I'l seal the seam with some RV sealant.

Make sure you do it right because at 65 in pouring rain you're talking about a category 1 hurricane I've been told that class c's leak at the seal

What part of the seal is gapped...there should be an interior finished piece and a mechanical seal underneath.
Repair the gap based on what's separated. Eterna-tape is amazing stuff for soft seals.
And
Maybe, come add your ID here:

I would use Eterna-tape.

? I've had 4 Class C's. 2 Winnebago, 1 Fleetwood, and 1 Chinook. No leaks ever at that seal.
