shore water

Hi thanks for letting me in on forum.
My question is when I hook up to park water, why does it also fill my fresh water tank?
Then it drips out an over flow next to where you fill in the fresh water?

Welcome to the club! If you're able to post a photo of the valve assembly, answers will come quickly.

On our MH, the fill port attaches to a lever that either allows fresh water into the coach, OR fills the tank. Lever needs to be on One or the Other.

for that reason, I can't address how you could have both good water pressure and the tank over-filling.

Photo? Type of RV?

Is it possible you have two fills, one for the city water connection and a 2d one to fill your fresh water tank ? If not that, you probably have valves not set properly.
The 2nd time I used my 31K , I wasn't paying attention and hooked the park water up to my tank fill instead of the city water connection. Fortunately the tank overflow functioned properly and the excess water ran out on the ground.
