Starting my search without a clue!!!

Greetings...

I'm starting a search for a smaller Class C motorhome and I don't know all the brand names. Here's what I'd like......21-24 feet. Slide out dining. Both a rear bed and a bed over the drivers seats. Does this ring any bells????

Yep, our 1997 Type C was that way. Traded it off in 1998 too.

Sounds like almost every Class C out there. You may need to give us more information to go on.

I had an 09 Winnebago Chalet, well I still have it but friend uses it all the time now. It matches your description completely. I bought the Class A just couldn't take the rough ride of the E450 chassis.

Mr.D what was your '97. My parameters are common around 24 and 25' but I want something smaller...

What's your budget? That's the biggest filter you can apply to this conversation to narrow down your choices.

At that budget you're probably looking at a 10 year old coach at a minimum. Concerns at that point become things like: viability of the appliances and motorhome equipment, whether the class C body seams are intact and haven't leaked, condition of the roof and serviceability of the engine / availability of engine parts.

Not sure you'll find two slides on <24' coach of that age. My advice would be to set up an advanced filter search on www.rvt.com and tune it to your budget and length restrictions. See what comes up. The forums can help with brands, bad engine years to avoid etc.

My 1993 Minnie Winnie would fit the bill, minus the slideout and $20K cost.
