Starting to look at Cambrias

We have a 2008 Winnebago View H. It is what the jerk sales manager calls the odd ball View (obviously won't buy from someone that would insult my coach). It has the gas Mercedes engine. We love it and it has served us well. The only part that gets inconvient at times is making the sofa into the bed. We are starting to look at a little larger model that would have the bed ready to go when needed. I was looking at an add for a 2012 Cambria 28 T and like the way the lay out looks. I would like to hear what others think of the Cambria or similar size. We built a coach barn for our current RV and would like something that would fit in there which would limit us to 30 ft and 12 ft door. What kind of gas mileage does the cambria get? Our gas View gets 13-14 mpg. Good to be back on here. This is a good place for info.

We have the Aspect which is the twin to the Cambria. Love the drive. Have 2 slides. In our unit the bed slides and has to be made when you want to use it. I know the other models have a full time bed. Have had no major issues with the MH. I did replace the converter/charger.

Last year we purchased a 2010 Cambria 28B that is 29' 7" long, 10' high and 7' 11" wide. The bed is 60" x 75" and is on a slideout. You can see the Cambria floor plans for various years here:

Itasca Motorhomes - Brochure Archive

We find this size works well for the two of us. It will not get the sort of fuel mileage your now getting. About the best we see on the interstates, driving 60+ and pulling a 2100# vehicle is 9 to 10 mpg.
