Steer Safe system

Anyone have the Steer-Safe system? Is it needed or good to have?

On my last 2 rigs. Wouldn't leave home without it.
I went from 200 miles and being pooped to 450/500 miles and raring to go. It takes away the constant steering corrections in windy conditions and the white knuckles when you see a 18 wheeler passing you at the spped of light.
Only get one if you want a relaxing drive!

I noticed on Steer Safe's website the Ford e450 chassis was not listed, only the 250 and 350.
Or maybe I missed it.....
Does anyone have one of these on a Class C e450?

I called the company. They said the E-350-92 fits the E450.

Is this a do-it-yourself up grade?

Well, I ordered the Steer Safe this morning from Camping World, they had it on sale for $349 with $9 shipping. Seems like a good deal to me. We're planning a big trip in May to Florida so it will get tested pretty thoroughly.

Heard that it causes extra wear on the steering. Anyone heard this?

As I read this thread, my husband has our MH (Ford E-350- Class C) at the dealer we bought it from having the Steer Safe installed. Will let you know how we like it. From all the comments, it sure sounds like it is worth the investment.
