How old is the unit. It could be a Ford E450 or an E350 with a 7.5L (460 CID) V-8 or a 6.8L, V-10.

Or it could be a Chevy 3500 with a 5.7L (350 CID) or a 7.4L (454 CID) V-8.

No one can tell you without seeing the unit.

Ken

it's a 1993 looks like a Ford, the ford emblem in mounted on the front centre of the hood, not on the grill, and the headlights appear to be squarish. Says it's got 56,800 miles on it.

Sounds like an E-350, 460CI V8. I had a 1992, never a problem with the drive train and trusted it to go anywhere. Sold it with 79k.
