Sunseeker class C
Hi,
We have been looking at a Forest River Sunseeker 3010 Class C MH, and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the company or that brand of RV?
I like the amount of counter space in this model and am concerned about overall quality
Thanks

A decent, well built model, commonly used by RV rental companies. Most of the fleets here are Sunseekers

We looked on line at this model. Bought, then crashed, the Four Winds 31 L. This is almost identical to the 3010.
We really like the set up on this model. The dealer put a 19" TV in the over cab area for the grand kids.
The quality on the Four Winds has improved dramatically over the last few years.
Good luck on your search,
Reds man

We bought a 2012 Sunseeker 2300 last fall and have been very happy with it. I like the fiberglass roof and one piece over cab space. There were very few issues and the dealer fixed these very quickly.
They replaced the microwave because the window fogged up.
The rubber seal on one of the sliding windows was winkled.
The black and gray water indicator leds were reversed.

I have a brand new Sunseeker 3010. We just returned from our maiden voyage and it was very successful but a learning process for me.
Plusses. The coach performed great and everything worked. The way over I was very nervous. Listening to every sound and smell. A lot of new burned off that first 800 miles.
I have an inner dual leaking air at a slow rate. It panicked me on the way over because I figured I had a serious leak but not so. I take it back to the dealer tomorrow.
On the way back the coach felt like it ran much better and there were no burning off smells. I drove 70 all the way home from Maine with no problems.
I thought my airbags were leaking but they are not. It is easy to loose air in the air bag when you pull off the connector to the compressor. Recommend going over your desired air pressure and then bleeding off to the desired pressure with your air gauge for the air bags.
I'm going to buy a tpms before my big trip next year.
Lessons learned. 1. Check the oil in your generator! I ran mine almost out of oil. 2. I screwed up right at the end of the trip. Latched a side door or at least thought I did. Turned the coach to back in when I'm storing it and it came undone and fell down into the gravel. Scratching it up and bending the door slightly. I'm upset with my clumsiness.
2. The bed is great. The counter space is great.
3. Over all it's a very nice well built coach. I have the regular seats which I thought I wouldn't like but actually they turned out to be the best long distance seats I have in any vehicle. I almost had no cramps going or coming from Ohio to Maine.
4. Dolly wasn't bad but I will go to 4 down towing when we get a new car.
5. Plenty of power.
6. 8 mpg @ 65 mph
7 mpg @ 70 mph

70MPH??? Why? Your coach is a great model and floor plan. It was our second choice. Enjoy it and slow down. No need to be in a hurry. Drive safe and enjoy the miles.

Actually on Sunday morning in the New York state thruway there was almost zero traffic. Very nice wide open freeway.
Most of the time I'm running 63-65.

You don't have to explain how fast you drive, 70 mph doesn't mean your driving unsafe.

We bought a Sunseeker 3120DS last fall and we absolutely love it. Our first big venture was this April, we drove from Nova Scotia Canada down to Myrtle Beach. Next may, we are going all the way to the Florida Keys. Great rig, always feels great to hit the open road.
