Super C Motorhomes

If I am not in right area please point me to the correct discussion.

I am considering a new Super C, either a Renegade Valencia 28 , or a Jayco Seneca 27.

Looking for ease of service, durability, a diesel, and one that is a pleasure to drive.

I have owned a number of motorhomes over the years, mostly Class A units, the current is a Bounder diesel. I drive in the mountains of Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado, along with British Columbia, and Alberta. That makes the power at altitude of a turbo diesel quite critical. I also pull a Grand Vitara, so getting out and keeping up with traffic in the 80 MPH freeway states is also important.

Any Super C owners here with good critical comments regarding the Super C units I am considering?

Thank you.

We just picked up our 2019 Renegade Valencia 38BB last weekend and we looked at Jayco, Dynamax & Nexus as well. I can tell you that we went with the Renegade over the other brands mostly due to quality. The fit and finish as well as the solid wood cabinetry were huge factors for us especially with 3 young kids. Going into this process of purchasing a new unit though we were set on a Seneca from the beginning.

Look at Dynamax Isata5 on the RAM 5500 chassis and the Thor Chateau Super C on the F550 chassis also. Service is a lot easier on them than the Freightliner and I can buy most parts at the auto parts stores. They are so nice to drive and super stable. they are typically a range of 30'-35'.

Is Dynamax the only manufacturer that offers a class c on the ram 5500 chassis. I have been looking at the Isata 5 as an option for a new rig. My only drawback is that I really would like to be around 26'-28' and the smallest floor plan they seem to offer is 30'.I really would not like to go up to a 30 foot rig. Does any one know if the Ram 5500 is available from anyone else?
