Swing-Away Base for Bike Racks

We just received our new Winnebago View 24G and faced that task of how to hook up our bike rack system from the previous RV. We could either dismount the bikes during our overnight stays or come up with a swing-away system that would allow us to use the rear slide-out without dismounting the bikes. We decided to “go for broke” and get a swing-away system that allows us to use our favorite swagman XTC2 rack which I will never part with. After much research we found an ideal swing-away “base unit” that allows you to mount any rack rather than having to buy a “total system”. I made the order and received the unit 4 days later. The model name is “Blade Runner” and exceeded all expectations. The unit was engineered with heavy duty machined components and is made by mwe racks(http://www.mweracks.com/) and ideal for any application requiring rack extension due to spare tires, slide-outs etc. I have uploaded foto's that shows our application.
