Swivel chairs

On our rv we do not have swivel chairs. We would like to get them. Can you put swivel chairs in an rv that does not come standard?

Conditionally, yes. There are even swivel bases made for just that purpose. You have to be sure you have enough room to actually swivel. And some manufacturers will say no, for cya purposes.

cya - cover your a** - from their perspective. Some dealers won't make that mod, wary of problems that could be attributed to their change.

We have an '06 forest River Lexington that came without swivel a base for the passenger side, (our old 89 Telstar had a swivel)...After much shopping I ordered a base from Shop4seats.com. It was not cheap ($225.00)...the difference is well worth the money, my wife is happy to be able to turn the seat faceing back after we are set up and it is very convenient!!
Shop 4 seats carries a wide variety of years and style bases.....If you want pictures I can post them up

Re:Swivel Base

No it was not....Pulled two bolts and two nuts and pulled the seat off, tried the replacement base on the floor and it fit, when I tried it on the seat, it was like 1/8" short on either side of each hole, so I elongated the holes with a round file, and then it fit just fine, I then bolted everything together and mounted it to the floor....total time, I'd say a couple of hours.....
