Good Sam and CampingWorld are both off my list. I've had experience with both.

Michlen has a few must see videos on You tube about RV tires, blowouts etc. In one of them IIRC they recommend replacing rv tires at 6 years?

I know the history of my tires as I bought them new, they have always been inflated according to the load and inflation table, never sit underinflated or sit for long periods of time. I would not go past 7 years and will likely replace at 6 years.

The damage a catastrophic blowout can do is not worth the risk!

Boy do I feel dumb. Fat fingers--it is not 55. DOH! I still don't do over 60 and prefer to schedule around rush hour.

BTW--I'm in Knightdale. Thank you for your LEO service.

We had bad luck with Good Sam as well and have not renewed and never will. We had a blowout in our MoHo in NC. Call the Good Sam number - giggling girl took our info and said truck would be there soon. Truck guy called us about an hour later - couldn't find us at the exit we were at - BECAUSE SHE SENT HIM TO THE WRONG STATE!!!!! We called back and they said it was too late in the day to find anyone to help us. We had to leave the MoHo on the side of I85 overnight. Next morning we got our own help. Came home and cancelled Good Sam

You can add years to your tires if you keep them covered.
