Thanks for advice; more questions

On Sept 11 I asked for advice regarding a class c my husband I were looking at - it had a water stain on the ceiling and we were concerned about potentila problerms with leaks (as well as longevity of tires). Many thanks to those of you who responded so quickly with good advice. The owners were very up-front about any repairs and let us do a very thorough inspection (we didn't use an ice-pick on the ceiling though). We were able to have it inspected by professionals and everything is sound. We are now proud owners of an RV that suits us perfectly.

A few more questions:

The unit is a 2002 Bigfoot 30MH29SL There are a couple of items not mentioned in the owner's manual and we'd like to know what they are for (previous onwers don't know) - 1) there is a spring loaded switch in the bedroom and the fourth switch by the door is also spring loaded - we have tried them, but they don't seem to do anything. 2) There are 8 inch round lights on each side of the unit (upper area, left of the entrance door) - we haven't been able to activate them and don't know what they are for.

What are people's thoughts on joing clubs such as Sam's Club etc - recommendations?

Light bulbs for the interior and basement - are they a specialty bulb for 120/12 volt systems or just regular bulbs?

The big lights outside maybe security lights, my switch is located in display panel area, bedroom, livingroom area, I have four of them and one of the switch's you mention may be for them.
Light bulbs can be the same 12v bulbs you have in your car or coach.
Some lights may be high intensity lamps they should have stampings on them to tell the type.
If you have a manual they maybe listed in there.

A spring loaded switch sounds like a water pump switch.

The spring loaded switch in the bedroom is the panic light. It turns on the outside lights if you hear any strange noises during the night.
