Thor Chateau vs. Thor Four Winds

This might be a rookie question but...what's the difference here? My wife saw and really like a Thor Chateau at an RV show a few months ago. A local dealer has Chateau's in stock but I've been looking at RV Direct's inventory and they stock Four Winds. Same floor plans etc. When I look at YouTube videos or pics they look basically identical. One doesn't necessarily stand out to me (at least in pictures) as "swankier" than the other. Is there a difference someplace that I'm missing?

Did Thor buy Four Winds? That's what I was wondering because seems the older Chateaus are Four Winds, and the newer ones are Thor....

Thor did buy Four Winds. My 2013 says Four Winds on the coach but Thor by the model sticker by the door. Paperwork also says Thor Four Winds Chateau.

Thor has been buying...they acquired Four Winds Intl. and Damon, creating Thor Motor Coach (TMC).
See: Company | Thor Motor Coach #1 Brand of Motorhomes | Diesel Pushers,Class A,Class B,& Class C RV s

They also acquired Dutchmen, Heartland, Air Stream and others...for the Towable line.

Click on the Recreational Vehicles tab here:

The Chateau was a model line for Four Winds in the past...but now they are being sold side by side:
New Motorhomes | Top Diesel Pushers, Class C, Class B Plus, & Class A RV Brands by Thor Motor Coach

Obviously some brands have a value (to them)...like, I bet you will NEVER see the end of the "Air Stream" Brand. But, they have dumped the Damon brand all together.

Lucky for Damon owners like me, most of the model line is still being made, and made in the same factory, AND customer service and unit quality has not taken a hit.

These new "Super C's" (F450/F550 chassis) looks like a fantastic idea and timely too, with the end of the good 'ol E Series cab/chassis coming in 2014.

Best of luck
