Sorry I don't have an answer but at least you have a brand new motorhome with a warranty and dealer support. There's a lot to be said about that.

With my little 23 year old class-c I'm out on a limb all alone when something like this goes wrong.

Best wishes for a speedy resolution.

I have the same unit and mine clearly makes the sound when disconnecting. Sorry that I have no advise on solution other than to say try and take it back with several items on your check list. I will share one problem that we are having addressed in early December after this trip, we have a water leak in driving rain between the truck cab and the coach. It drips down right on top of the driver and passenger outer shoulders. I suspect that it is a caulking issue, so watch for that. Love ours so far!!

Disconnect switch thor freedom elite

Thank you both for your reply. It's back at the dealer and they suspect it's something to do with the converter. I appreciate your interest, and it's also nice to know of others that have the freedom elite, again, thanks.

Will watch out for the leak point. I know if you have a pin hole size in the caulk, water gets in. I just bought a 2015 Freedom Elite and got the 5 yr extended coverage so have peace of mind if anything goes wrong.
