Thor Outlaw not popular?

The dealer by me here in Texas are blowing out all the Thors for 35% below MSRP. Is this normal? Sticker is $115k and they are selling them for $75k. Just wondering how resell is going to be with these in the future. Great price BTW for a great RV.

We thoroughly enjoy our Outlaw 29h. Generally class C toyhaulers command somewhat of a premium price over other class C's of a similar size. One reason for this is you won't find many (if any) in the used market. In my opinion you get a much more versatile machine with the toyhauler. I would suspect this premium will hold into the used market if you decide to sell it in a few years, but be forewarned you'll lose 20 to 30 grand the moment you drive it off the dealers lot. Also be forewarned the place in Texas is a big volume dealer, so they can discount more then a local guy. But some have had difficulty getting service work done locally if you bought somewhere else. There's some added costs you may want to consider, like extended warranty, tire warranty, local and state sales taxes and accessories for your RV. All of the above can be rolled into the final price and paid through the loan. So for me affordability comes down to how much will it cost me per month.

I submit 25-30% should be about average as a good bid off MSRP for mid-year discounts on most all RV's.
If you are talking about MHSRV...they START dealing at about 30% off. BIGGEST Volume Dealer for TMC.

35%-37% is year-end pricing. If these units are 2016's, then that is a good price, because the 2017's are rolling off the line right now.

The Outlaw 29H is a very hot seller...as are all of the Outlaw line.
The rear ramp is set-up from the factory to be usable as a patio deck and the garage is a finished room with aircon, TV and stereo that can be used for anything from as obvious as hauling your motorcycles to; being a home office, a craft room, a kennel room, a shop, garden room...etc.

Safe travels

We really enjoy our 29h outlaw and got just about the same deal. I shopped around and different models and they all were discounted about the same.

I understand this thread is about Outlaws, but I have a MHSRV story.

We were actually on our way down to MHSRV (about 75 miles from us) to finalize a deal we'd worked for a specific 2016 MH (after spending many of our weekends for a year mostly at MHSRV...it's like Disney...can't see it all in one day), when we decided to visit the McClain's RV (about 10 minutes from where we live) one last time.

McClain's had a 2017 unit we *really* liked from a visit a few weeks earlier, but I could not get them below 25% off MSRP. I showed them paperwork the 40% off deal I had with MHSRV for a similar 2016 unit (but different manufacturer), and I got them to take off 37% and I closed the deal. Now my local dealer is 10 minutes instead of 90 minutes from me.

It was kind of like finding the Amazon price for something and getting my local BestBuy to match it.

However, if MHSRV had the same unit (that we liked from McClain's), I'd have no issue purchasing from them, and in fact I send anyone asking about MHs to MHSRV since you can walk in 100's of MHs with no salespeople following you around. They loan you one of their dozens of golf carts, and when a salesperson does come around it's usually to see if you want a bottle of water.
