Unhappy Tiffin Wayfarer/Winnebago Navion Detailing

Looking for tips and tricks to hand wash and wax the front roof cap on a Tiffin Wayfarer, same as the Winnebago Navion. I can't reach the middle from both the roof and sides (when on a ladder). Not sure how an extension pole would do when waxing and buffing. Thanks in advance!

It is a tough problem! One of the very few things I don't like about my new Wayfarer! I use a sturdy extension pole for washing but, like you, don't think that would work well for waxing. The only solution I can see is to scaffold across the hood / windshield. Two ladders and a sturdy platform would work but needs to be well thought out.

I use a system called Wash, Wax, All (available on Amazon) which includes a really good extension pole and the proper cleaning pads and solutions. I had my front end looking clean and bug free in less than 30 minutes. Since the kit can wash and wax at the same time, it works out really well on those unreachable areas.

Thanks for the responses, an extension pole looks like one of the few options.

X2 on the Wash WaxAll. All their stuff is a bit pricey and worth every penny.... especially their extension pole (wax your whole rig w/o a ladder if you choose to....... and at 88 I choose to. lol) Just my $.02

Good times and safe travels....... ed s
