Tire advice

The tires on our class c 32 ft winneabago spirit are 6 years old and showing small cracks on the sidewall ,however tread is good. After reading the horror stories of tires,i have made the decision to replace the existing michelins with Hankook Dynapro mt rh12lt. They seem to get good reviews and consumer report gives them a good rateing. Any body have any experience with thes tires? Do peoples replace the spare also or keep the original and use it if needed to and replace in the event of a tire failure. Apreciate any advise.

Just replaced ours on our 28ft Gulfstream. We used some commercial tires made by Kelly. Just make sure you check the date codes on any new ones that you buy. Don't buy any older than a year old. Make sure the load rating is correct for your rv.

Forgot to add that ours were 10years d showing small cracks on the side wall but good tread. We just bought the unit last fall and I take no chances when it comes to tires on any vehicle I own. $1000 bucks or so Is cheap compared to what it would cost if you had an accident.
