Since you guys have gotten real familiar with your toilet's plumming, you might want to go back at a later date and install a shutoff valve in that line.

As I stated earlier I used a shark bite. Found a braided water line at Depot that had a shut off valve built on the end as well as shark bite. My water line was not rubber it was hard plastic. I cleaned up where I cut it, sanded it nicely and pushed it right on. Easy Peesy...
