Greetings fellow C'ers
Just wondering if any of you have the plastic (TPO) roof material and what you might recommend for washing it. The manufacturer recommends Murphy's Oil Soap. I've tried it and it just doesn't seem to have much,....well, omph.
Right now, I do not have any stains other than what our feathered friends have deposited, but it does need some attention,,,eventually.

I use Spic-N-Span and it does a great job of removing the dirt and grime.

I have the same roof on my Class C. I use the Murphy's. It seems to work pretty good for me. The best way I have found to do it was work. I diluted it into a bucket and then used a rag to slosh it onto a small area, leave it sit for a second, and then go back and do it again. I also pressure rinsed it off, which means the whole RV needed to be washed.
Not the most fun job, but it did look really good afterwards. Probably have to do it 2-3 times a year.

I wash our M.H. after each trip but have never washed the roof. Our M.H. stands 11ft 6in. and nobody can see it, why bother?

Howdy all,
I finally broke down and washed and sealed mine, trees and birds take their toll. I had noticed the white chalk running down the sides even after washing M/H.
Used Thetford rubber roof cleaner not too impressed, left alot of stains but roof is clean. Used a rubber roof coating by clea all or something like that not sure of the neme but it definatly sealed the roof but time will tell in the Florida sun and humidity.
