I have a 2000 Gulfstream 28' Class C on a 1999 Chevy one ton van chassis.

What transmission is in this motorhome?

What is the total ATF capacity?

How much ATF comes out with a pan drop and filter change?

Is there a torque converter drain plug?

Thanks, Paul

I see nobody answered this yet, so I'll take a stab at it and somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you have a 4L80-E (should be an electrical terminal on the driver's side of the case). If so, it takes 7.7 quarts in the pan and another 5 to 6 in the TC.

Thanks, I just called a Chevy dealer and they ran the VIN and found out my build code for the tranny is MT1. According to ChevyHighPerformance site, build code MT1 is the 4L80-E. Odd thing, Wikipedia says the 4L80E is for up to 8000 lb GVRW, but this motorhome is listed as 12,300 lb. Must be more to it. Maybe Wikipedia is wrong on that.
