Talking v10 fuel mileage

Heading to Alaska first 3 tanks yielded 12.9 mpg, tanks 4 through 7 it was up tp 13.9 mpg, then it developed a hard knock and vibration, turns out it was my DW telling me to wake up,it was time to go!

Tguid

You need to call ford and give them the data on your mileage. I'm sure they will give you a new engine so they can bronze the one you have for their museum.

While you are dreaming, don't forget to pave the road the whole way and campgrounds costing ten dollars a night.

I assume those were Imperial gallons in which case they are equal to 5/4 of a US gallon. Multiplying your mileage by 0.8 yields 8-9.6 mpg (US) which I would believe.

7 to 9 was about all I could squeeze out of mine but maybe if you have a small RV you could get better mileage.

On a good day without the toad, on a mostly level (no mountains) midwest trip, with the wind at my rear, I have seen 10.5-11. Usually without the toad I get 9, with the toad, about 8. All this at 60-63 mph.

Had to change my log in code and install a auto-matic dish washer.
