View Profile bathroom

On the last 2 months trip from NH to AK and back the shower was used for storing firewood and wet clothing + etc. I hav enot used the shower in any of my RVs in the last 20 years. Now I look in my 2012 View Profile and I'm disappointed with the bath after the Navion 24A. Then I notice the large shower which could have been put to better use as a vanity with a comfortable sink and wall cabinet. When a designer comes up with a layout do they ever spend a night or a week in it? Seriously considering some changes for creature comfort.

They probably put showers in them because most of us like to take them more than once every 2 months? Or perhaps a larger one for more firewood? Hard to figure them designers out I guess

I prefer to have the shower, sink and a toilet for me to use. I bet you don't number 2 in the toilet either.

I'm amazed at the silly responses to a ligitimate question. I have a first class co-pilot and she makes sure of arrangements for overnight/extended stay at good CG that has hot showers available for AM and PM. For anyone to question my family's hygiene without facts is ludicrous.

Personally I wouldn't have a clue if MH designers spend any time in them. I really doubt if anyone here knows either.... And probably why no one answered that.

The parts about showers and firewood could have been eliminated if that was you're only question. Actually I thought you were kidding yourself. Or, you did the showers at CGs. There are a ton of joksters (who also help many and are serious most of the time) on the forum. I quickly learned how to phrase my questions on here

Anyway, no offense intented here and I'm sure none by the other respondents.

Jack28 - I have to agree the previous responses to your question were not very friendly and welcoming, especially to a newer member of this forum.
I am curious though as to why you moved from the Navion to the View Profile?

The Navion was an excellent RV except the bunk over cab was a problem. When the QB was unfolded the only way in or out of overhead bed was by climbing on the QB. For room and comfort with the full wall slide it was great traveling with 2 great grandchildren. I did remove the lounger, it took up to much room. The Profile has 2 slides, one out the back for th eQB and the other out the driver side for a full bed. If you ever drive the Mercedes diesel you'll never go back to a gas engine. I'd like to see a 28' on the Ford diesel chassis with a full wall slide.
Happy RVing.

My in-laws never used the shower on any of their campers either. It was always filled with "stuff." Could never figure that out. I prefer to use the shower in my TT because at least I know who has used it before me, it's clean, and it's totally private. We even use it when we don't have full hook-ups! To each their own. You may have to do a major mod to your camper to get it how you want it, but just remember the resale aspect; not everyone wants to use CG showers and would prefer their own shower/bathtub.
