If it's just when it's been sitting for a period of time, and only after you've started the engine, my first thought would be a house battery isolation relay going bad.

I had a similar issue with mine, as the coil in the relay got weak it would flutter open and closed for a bit when first started.

Yeah, when i first start it I can hear the sound near the engine compartment, seems like more on the drivers side but cant quite tell. Last weekend when i started it I heard it arc about every 5 seconds or so and then noticed like a piece of black plastic, like a sliver that was popped off from an arc. I pulled the tunnell and looked at everything that has black plastic and saw no evidence...grrrrr... Where abouts is the battery isolator relay? Seems almost like it is more common when the engine is moist from the dew..... Anyway, thanks for the reply, I appreociate it!! Ike
