Water Heater Wanted

My HWH tank busted on my coach last week while on a trip. I have the 6 gallon atwood model and I am looking for a decently priced replacement that I can install myself. The model number is GH6-7E. Does anyone know of a place I can get one of these bad boys for less than $400.00?

Have you considered contacting a salvage yard? There are several around.

Try www.components.visonerv.com
They have new and used parts-I have not used them, just heard about them. Used HWH are about $275.00, free shipping. Good Luck

Have you considered replacing just the tank (assuming the rest is okay). The tank cost is about $150 and the work to do the repair is about the same as replacing it.
