What kind of LapTop Mount do you have for the cab of your Class C ???

Is there one that is ideal to be used with a doghouse ?? If you like yours, please tell me about it and where to get. Thanks.

I used a Ram mount for mine but it made it hard to get out of the pas. side seat. so I went with a dash mount gps instead of the lap top

It is my opinion there is absolutely no room in my C cockpit for a laptop computer.

I bought and installed a Jotto Desk but I only used it for 1 outing. I disassembled it and returned it to where I purchased it and obtained a refund.

The laptop blocked out too much forward visibility and it bounced around so much it was unreadable unless I was stopped.

I too am looking for a laptop mount but I won't put it in the cab area. That is just asking for trouble. Plan on mounting behind the driver seat (swivels) so I can use it from the driver seat or sitting on the couch. Frees up the table top and makes the TV viewable without getting a crook in the neck.
Go where you want to go
Do what you want to do.

I use the Jotto Desk model 2500 mounted on the doghouse with a 15" laptop and have no major complaints. There is some vibration on rough roads. Very easy to install the base with 6 screws and fully adjustable to level. Solid steel construction with adjustable hight and articulated arms for full 360 degree swivel and lockable in any position. Dw is the navigator and loves it. Instead of using tiedown straps we chose to use velcro to mount laptop. worked out well. Ordered it directly from Jotto Desk.com

I have a net book and made a cradle for it that fits the doghouse. Works well.

I used a Jotto Desk in a Class C (Coachman Leprechaun), and transferred it to a Diesel Bounder. I was very pleased with it. I found out about it from local law enforcement folks. Jotto Desks are what they use.

I tried to install a custom made laptop platform but there isn't enough room.
I could have mounted something on the dash but it would then block some of the view out of the windshield which would then pose a safety hazzard.
Selling my C class this summer so I won't spend time and money to have a spot for my laptop. Will be getting an A class DP and should have lots of room for a laptop then.
